Born in the Sankaramanchi family to Sri Radha Krishnamurthy & Smt Satyamani, RaghuJi hails from Vemuluripadu, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, and completed his Veda abayas from Bhapatla Veda PaathaShala. After the abayas, he served as the head priest in Sai temples in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Regions for 10+ years. Following that, after some roles as a head priest in a few Sai temples in New York & New Jersey, US for another 10+ years, RaghuJi founded “Sai Datta Peetham” in Edison, NJ.was later renamed to: “Shri Shiva Vishnu temple, Edison NJ.

RaghuJi has always been a man of tall vision. And putting forth steps to achieve this vision has been his forte. Sai Datta Peetham has been founded on such a tall vision - Four pillars: SATSANG, ANNADHAANAM, EDUCATION AND CHARITY.

ANNADHAANAM: Inspired from Shirdi Sai, Sai Datta Peetham offers free anna-prasadam for all devotees all day. SATSANG: With a vision to spread the values of Hindu Spiritual Dharma across all people across the world via Bhakti maarg and Gyaana maarg, RaghuJi has arranged for daily Bhakti services at the temple as well as frequent spiritual (Gyaan) discourses throughout the year at the temple. EDUCATION: With a vision to inspire the next generation kids in community volunteering services, RaghuJi introduced the “Gurukulam”. This is a weekly activity for kids with focus on (1) Hindu cultural learning (2) The value of community service and (3) Yoga. CHARITY: RaghuJi has always believed in giving back to the society. Raghuji has arranged for donating on a bi-monthly schedule to charity organizations for homeless and under-priveleged people both in the US and in India.

Constantly pushing and challenging oneself and setting big goals, is RaghuJi’s common attitude. SHIRDI in AMERICA is one such initiative. Travelling across 45 states and (approx) 75000 miles, RaghuJi some 2500 households carrying Sai padukas..
